Boost for Queensland business

WorkCover is helping Queensland business get a competitive edge by slashing insurance premium rates.

Queenslanders already enjoy the lowest workers’ compensation rates in Australia. From 1 July 2006, the average premium rate will reduce even further from $1.43 per $100 wages paid, to $1.20.

This means significant savings for Queensland business. Not only is it cheaper to do business in Queensland, but workers have peace of mind in the event of a workplace injury, with some of the best compensation benefits in Australia.
