Lodge a claim online

Injured workers and employers can now lodge or report a workers’ compensation claim online, using our Online claim form.

Before lodging a claim online

Before lodging a claim online, the injured worker needs to have seen a doctor and obtained a Workers’ Compensation Medical Certificate.

When lodging online, only one form is needed for both the injured worker and the employer. The injured worker or the employer can fill in the form - it may be helpful to fill the form in together.

It is very important for injured workers to see their doctor as soon as possible and get a Workers’ Compensation Medical Certificate. An injured worker should report any injury to their employer (for example their supervisor), including an injury at work or travelling to or from work, even if it is minor. Injured workers should also talk to their employer if lodging a claim.

Follow the 3 step process to lodge a claim online:

Step 1 - how do I lodge a claim online?

Step 2 - upload an online claim form

Step 3 - successful online claim lodgement.
