Paying your premium
The following premium payment options are available.
Upfront annual premium payment
A 3% discount will apply to premiums paid by 16 September or as stated on your premium notice. A minimum premium of $170 will apply.
Full payment of premium is due by 30 September.
BPAY

Cheque or money order
If you are paying by cheque or money order, please attach the payment slip from the bottom of your premium notice and return it to:

Credit card
You can pay your premium by Mastercard or Visa over the phone by calling 1300 132 278. This is an automated service. This option is only available for total premium up to $10 000.
Electronic funds transfer (EFT)
Follow these steps to pay your premium by EFT:

Important note on cash payments
WorkCover Queensland does not accept cash payments, however you can deposit cash at any Commonwealth Bank of Australia branch: BSB 064 013 Account number 1000 8320.
Payment plans
If you are an employer with a premium of $1100 or more, you can set up a monthly or quarterly payment plan to pay your premium (not available to government policy). To set up a premium payment plan, you must provide your wage details to WorkCover Queensland (where requested) by 31 August. You must also provide your direct debit details by 30 September.
If you had a payment plan last year, you will automatically be placed on a payment plan this year. Full payment of your premium by 30 September will cancel the payment plan.
Any payment plan arrangement with us will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the Direct debit client agreement

Premium funders
You can apply for premium funding from your financial institution or independent fund providers. A premium funder is a financial credit establishment, which for approved applicants, will enter into a loan arrangement to pay insurance premiums on your behalf. You can find contact details for premium funders in your local Yellow Pages under ‘Insurance-Premium Finance’.
