What is WorkCover's role in the common law process?
If you are covered for the
common law claim, we will manage
the claim. We will be responsible for all communication with the
injured
worker and their solicitors, and will appear on your behalf
at settlement conferences and court proceedings. We will pay for
any
damages that we consider the injured
worker is entitled to
receive, together with any legal or investigation costs that
we incur.
