What information do I need to apply?
You will need this information when you call us:
- how many
household workers you employ - what date you started employing a
household worker - whether your
household worker has sustained a work injury since you first employed them - if you have an existing household workers’ insurance policy with WorkCover Queensland
- credit card details to pay your premium.
You are automatically covered from the date the application is received by WorkCover Queensland. This means coverage starts immediately after the phone call.
After taking out a policy, we will send you a premium notice to confirm your insurance coverage and the period of insurance.
WorkCover Queensland's household workers’ insurance policies are for a two year period, with the next insurance period starting 1 January 2009.
