The pre-proceedings process (Chapter 5 Parts 5 and 6)


These parts of the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 provide guidelines for what is required of the injured worker prior to seeking damages through the courts. These parts are designed to facilitate the just and expeditious resolution of the real issues in a claim for damages at a minimum of expense.
