If you are acting for an injured worker you will need to consider the appropriate legislation. Please note substantial legislative amendments were enacted with effect at varying times.

Workers' Compensation Act 1916 (for injuries before 1 January 1991)
Workers' Compensation Act 1990 (for injuries on or after 1 January 1991 but before 1 February 1997 - note major amendments from 1 July 1996)
WorkCover Queensland Act 1996 (for injuries on or after 1 February 1997)
Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (for injuries on or after 1 July 2003 - note some amendments effective from 1 January 2008).
