When it comes to working with injured workers, employers and the medical and allied health community, one of the most common challenges WorkCover Queensland faces is ensuring we have enough information about the injured worker and their medical condition or injuries. This information helps us plan a safe return to work and make decisions that impact the benefits workers receive.
Return to work services: Provider information and application instructions
We have reviewed how we appoint Return to Work Services providers and how we allocate and manage claims involving these providers. QLD Gov statement: Nurses and doctors required on Hospital Boards
Queensland’s Hospital and Health Boards will be required to have a member with experience as a nurse and a member with experience as a medical doctor, as part of the Newman Government’s plan to maximise patient care.
