The Australian Industry Group (AIG) are running free sessions to help employers develop strategies to achieve a stay at, or early return to work and prevent or minimise secondary psychological injuries.

A worker with a secondary psychological injury can take twice as long to return to work than someone with a physical injury only. The longer someone is off work, the higher the claim costs will be and thus the more impact it will have on your premium.

Poor management of initial claim, workplace culture, pain, and interpersonal relationships can impact on the primary injury leading to a complex secondary psychological injury.

Attend the AIG free briefing to identify how you can improve your injury management outcomes and prevent secondary psychological injuries.

Sessions:

  • Mackay, 5 November
  • Townsville, 6 November
  • Cairns, 7 November
