Identifying supervisors' role in return to work: survey out now
19 Feb 2013
Dr Venerina Johnston, UQ, with a team of researchers from other national and international institutions recently asked supervisors what knowledge, skills and behaviours they believe are necessary to ensure the safe and speedy return to work after a mental health condition or musculoskeletal injury. Now, they would like to hear from in-house return to work coordinators, rehabilitation advisors, human resource staff and OHS practitioners.
You can rate the importance of the competencies identified by supervisors via an online survey (should take 10-15 minutes to complete).
This is a research project funded by the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research, which is a joint venture between WorkSafe Victoria, the Transport Accident Commission and Monash University. The research has been cleared by one of the human ethics committees of The University of Queensland in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council's guidelines.
