WorkCover recommends that an injured worker lodging a common law claim seek advice from a solicitor. The Queensland Law Society can provide you with a list of solicitors who may be able to assist you. You can visit the Queensland Law Society's web site at www.qls.com.au.
If you are a member of a union, you can also contact your union for guidance about lodging a common law claim.
