Medical assessment tribunal

The Medical Assessment Tribunal is a forum where independent doctors review and consider a worker’s injury and impairment. They can be asked to determine complex medical issues that are associated with some claims. WorkCover Queensland, along with other workers’ compensation insurers in Queensland, can refer injured workers to attend the tribunal. Q-COMP, the Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Authority, manages the Medical Assessment Tribunal.

For further information about the Medical Assessment Tribunal, please visit the Q-COMP web site at www.qcomp.com.au.
